4th CD Update - Feds Backing Off Doolittle, Terbo Slams Brown, other news

Posted by Aaron Park on June 22, 2008 at 02:39 PM

Well, well, well… just like with JD Hayworth and Conrad Burns – once the Feds got their man out of office, they seem to be easing off their investigation.

I guess a 4-year witch-hunt against John Doolittle has done nothing other than give political opportunists fodder and run Doolittle into retirement.

Since Doolittle’s announcement, subpoenas have not been followed up upon nor has the investigation. The phone calls have trickled down to almost nothing and Doolittle’s legal fees have subsided as well.

I will say it again, I sincerely hope that if someone gets into some trouble – they get treated more fairly than Doolittle.

Terbolizard Slams Charlie Brown

Blogger’s Note – I have determined to maintain contact with Ted Terbolizard and Ted is never shy about his opinions.

Terbo wrote me in an email -

He’s (Brown) a Manchurian candidate for sure.

Brown’s got a strong military career and then worked in the police union; he’s made a career out of following orders on the government dime, which means he’d probably vote party-line 100% of the time in DC, a useless grunt. One of the things i like about McClintock is that he’s able to distance himself from the party line when he knows he’s right; his opposition to bush’s ‘no child left behind’ is a great example; his principles trump party loyalty, you know he can think for himself.

Also, on the ‘carpet-bagger’ issue, Charlie brown is from Iowa and didn’t move here until the past couple of decades; he doesn’t talk with a California accent. He sounds like he’s from ‘eye-wuh’.

When brown was at the Nevada City league of women’s voters debate, he said two things that really scared me. One, he wants to deploy the military to save the environment, he sees environmentalism as a theater of war, literally, for U.S. troops to engage in. ‘the war to save the planet’ (sic). Like apache gunships could save polar bears? and to stop illegal immigration, he wants all workers fingerprinted by the feds. Which means ALL OF US would have to be fingerprinted by the feds to qualify for a 1099 or W2 check. Police state (sic). He thinks like a militarist cop, danger. One of the questions at the debate was ‘which one of you is most qualified to provide the most security for the 4th district’ and I said, ‘no question, it’s Charlie Brown, he wants a police state and he used to blow stuff up with jet. Planes, no contest, don’t shoot, peace man.’ And the audience was howling. A bunch of the Dems in the room wanted to vote for me after that.

Summer Solstice Meeting of McClintock Cult Canceled

The cult of McClintock was slated to meet for a summer solstice Sunset Kool-Aid Vigil. It was canceled for lack of attendance…

The overriding issue was the fact the most who were on the guest list had to attend church services.

Pat Buchanan Jr.

You can blame none other than GWB for this witch hunt against JTD. His administration is at his disposal and he could have called this off if he really wanted to support Conservatives in Congress. Let’s hope the next Administration doesn’t let down Tom McClintock.
