Endorsements Continue to Roll In For McClintock (NRA, Gun Owners, NTU, Eagle Forum)

I am proud to say that the CRA was Tom’s first major endorsement in the 4th CD race, however.

Blogger’s Note – Is Chris Cox a racist, too? (Ose campaign response to Gun Owner’s of America criticizing his record was to call Tim Macy a racist)

Second Note – If McClintock was so ineffective in the California Legislature – why have the NTU, Gun Owners, Nat’t Right to Life and now the NRA endorsed him?

National Rifle Association (NRA) Endorses McClintock Second Gun Organization in as Many Days to Support McClintock’s Congressional Bid

One day after receiving an endorsement from the Gun Owners of America, State Senator Tom McClintock received the endorsement Wednesday from the National Rifle Association. McClintock, who has earned lifetime ratings of A+ from both organizations, is clearly a strong defender of Second Amendment rights.

“As a member of the California State Legislature for almost two decades, you have been a champion for our Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage,” said NRA chairman, Chris W. Cox in an endorsement letter to McClintock.

Cox said McClintock has been an outspoken advocate of gun rights and sporting traditions and the NRA is proud to endorse him for Congress.

Ose’s Liberal Second Amendment Votes H.Amdt. 225 to H.R. 2122, Roll Call #243, June 1999 – Prohibited individual sale of guns at gun shows and allowed gun shows to be taxed and regulated – Vote YES

H.Amdt. 222 to H.R. 2122, Roll Call #240, June 1999 – Repeal the Washington DC Gun ban – Voted NO

H.Amdt. 180 to H.R. 1501, Roll Call #211, June 1999 – Government “War on Gun Owners” Amendment – Voted YES

H.Amdt. 420 to H.R. 2356, Roll Call #24, Feb 2002 – Exemption for 2nd Amendment Issue Ads – Voted NO

Ose has a lifetime D+ Rating from the NRA.
