Doug Ose Weakness Showing - has old Endorsements Rolled Out Again

Posted by Aaron Park on April 08, 2008 at 07:54 PM

This is a further sign of weakness by Ose – in the face of McClintock out-raising Ose by $100,000 in 4 less weeks…

Ose appears to be attempting to upstage McClintock coming to D.C. by rehashing old endorsements. Given anon pro-ose comments posted on blogs, there appears to be a coordinated effort to try and show that Ose is somehow gaining traction in this latest (3rd trip) to D.C.

A blog in San Francisco obviously did not check Ose’s website as their exclusive cites endorsements that are at least 2 weeks old if not 3 weeks old:

A letter simply dated March 2008 shows signatures from 12 former colleagues of Doug Ose.

The blog states an “Exclusive” of what we in this district have known for a few weeks.

Could Ose have re-circulated this letter in an effort to try and generate some publicity with/for this latest trip to DC?

A post on the Red County Blog whose title was “Ose Fundraiser a Success” was based on a phone call from and Ose endorser in D.C. on that trip to a consultant/blogger on the Red County Blog.

The series of events suggests more campaign chicanery from Ose. (Other than the bald-faced lies in his ads and on his signs)

The blog post from the SF based blog I am referring to is linked here

What about McClintock’s weaknesses? Like having an out of district voter named Aaron Park sign his petition to run for congress in the 4th District? Seems like a weakness to me.
