Sue Horne Press Release - Decries "Attack"

Posted by Aaron Park on March 05, 2008 at 03:03 PM

I got two words for Sue Horne: REX ARCHER

WHAT DOES SUE HORNE’S ENDORSEMENT OF MCCLINTOCK REALLY MEAN???

The Press Release Follows:

Dan Logue’s Team Attacks Sue Horne for Her Endorsement of Tom McClintock

(Nevada City) – Earlier this week, Team Logue used a BLOG post to openly attack Sue Horne for her announcement supporting Senator Tom McClintock’s run for Congress.

“This is incredible that Logue would continue a high-intensity attack campaign against Sue Horne, especially this early in a race,” said Horne Spokesman Mark Spannagel. “Horne endorsed Tom McClintock because he is the right candidate for this seat, and she’s not going to back down. Team Logue’s continued attack against Sue’s decision to support McClintock is simply deplorable.”

“But, the sad reality is that these attacks are simply a reflection of Logue’s own character,” added Spannagel.

Logue’s support team found itself in trouble in 2007 after levying a MoveOn.Org styled nasty attack against conservative veterans. At the time, Nevada County Supervisor Nate Beason said of Logue’s campaign:

(Please note that this blogger is also a Conservative Veteran – there they go throwing the Conservative word around again)

“These guys are playing nasty, and I’m going to hold them accountable every time my name comes up,” Beason said. “Anyone endorsing the Logue campaign is endorsing his tactics. Having been in a profession (U.S. Navy) for 30 years where ethics was everything, I have problems with people who run for political office and do things like this.”

(Mr. Beason – come get some)

Logue’s team then openly attacked the popular Republican Police Chief of Chico after he endorsed Horne’s Assembly Campaign.

(Please note Bruce Hagerty’s active endorsements of Bill Lockyer (also F rated by Gun Owners of America like Doug Ose) and Steve Westley)
