Negative attack stories are on their way - Ose is hiding behind his "Emporers Club"

Ose must be getting the message – or he must be starting to feel the effects of the exposure of his record.
He is relegated to hiding behind his endorsement list – and is waiting for his friends in the LA Times and the Sacramento Bee to come out with Negative stories about McClintock.
The LA Times is expected to be running a negative story this weekend attacking McClintock over his residency and the home-owner’s exemption Thomas McClintock claims on a house in Ventura County. Problem – Thomas McClintock is deceased. Tom McClintock is a Senator who does not claim a homeowner’s exemption.
The Times is also expected to take on the Per Diem issue, which should be pretty ironic since Doug Ose has attacked people over that issue before. More on Ose’s own brand of dirty campaigning later.
Ose sent out a mailer today featuring scanned images of signatures from a whole bunch of local electeds. We will refer to them as the “Emporers Club” from here forward.
Ose can only hope that the Media attacks against Tom McClintock will get him traction because todays mailer lacked substance – just like fellow Liberal Barak Obama.
The text of the mailer is pasted below:
We Proudly Support Conservative Republican Doug Ose for Congress.
Doug is a local taxpayer and businessowner who was born and raised in Northern California. He knows our issues and our people. His loyalties are with us.
Four years ago, Doug honored his promise to return to private life after representing Northern California in Congress for three terms – one of the only Congressman in America to keep this pledge. With Congressman Doolittle’s retirement, Doug is again answering the call to public service.
In Congress, Doug voted for one of the largest Tax cuts in American History, fought billions in wasteful spending, protected our flag and supported our troops – earning praise from tax-fighters, veterans and local taxpayers.
Doug Ose is the real deal – with real roots and a real record of honorable service to our community. We proudly support him.
The rest of the mailer is signatures, that’s it
What the mailer misses is the 59% rating from the National Taxpayer’s Union – speaking of Ose’s real record.
Myself and other bloggers have posted Ose’s record repeatedly and that is what he has to fight against in every campaign mailer he sends out.
Why the Emporers Club signed their names to that mailer are allowing themselves to be dragged into Ose’s misleading campaign is the subject of a future post.
