A while back, Sue Horne’s campaign was bragging about trouble for Dan Logue – a recall effort being led by Rex Archer with the backing of the local labor unions.

Jim Nielsen, Doug LaMalfa and Doug Ose are all on team Horne… they need to read the next paragraphs of this post carefully…

Mr. Archer failed miserably in leading a Recall of Dan Logue – a black eye for the Horne campaign. They would have been better of to have said nothing at all…

It just gets worse… the Marysville Appeal-Democrat has a bombshell of a story.

This is an excerpt -

The seven-count complaint, filed Wednesday and signed by Deputy District Attorney Bradley Enos, includes two counts of continuous sexual abuse, three counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14, oral copulation with a child under 14, and penetration by a foreign object of a child under 16.

This is unbelievable – someone from the Nielsen / Horne / LaMalfa / Ose machine should have done their homework before e-mailing the universe about what Archer was trying to do to Dan Logue.

The Nielsen / Horne / LaMalfa / Ose machine now has a major embarrassment.

Update – Rex Archer tried to run for Sheriff before running unsuccessfully for Yuba County Supervisor. I guess Rex made it to the Sheriff’s office after all…

Never one to accept defeat – Archer tried to sue the county for not allowing him to run for Sheriff – Archer failed to meet the qualifications to serve as Sheriff.

However- I am sure that we will be able to interview Archer about the California Prison System and the Yuba County Jail in a few years.
