Let's Compare a Moderate (Charlie Brown) to a Liberal (Doug Ose)

Posted by Aaron Park on February 25, 2008 at 07:44 PM

In Mr. Rogers’ neighborhood, they used to play this game all the time… with fingerpaints and colored shapes. (Actually, not a whole lot different than politics)

We will use Doug Ose’s record and Charlie Brown’s website to play… let’s find the Liberal Democrat! Can you say Liberal fraud children??? I knew you could… we call those RINO’s.

Charlie Brown stated his public support for Charter Schools in the recent Rocklin Unified School District saga…

Doug Ose Voted against school choice (RC #135, 05/23/01)

Charlie Brown is for reducing the National Deficit as stated on his website

Doug Ose Voted against the Republican Study Committee budget that would cut wasteful spending(RC #73, 03/23/00) (RC #79, 03/20/03)

Charlie has dedicated his life to protecting the Constitution of the United States, and the bill of rights. Charlie strongly supports the 2nd Amendment and is a gun owner himself. Source – Website

Doug Ose: Lifetime D+ by the NRA and Lifetime F from Gun Owners of America – demonstrating clear opposition to the 2nd amendment.

Charlie believes that in order to adequately address the illegal immigration problem, we must first secure America’s borders with more agents and greater deployment of security technology. Source – Website

Doug Ose received a score of 0% from FAIR indicating a pro-amnesty / open borders voting record.

Charlie supports existing law governing a woman’s right to control her own reproductive healthcare choices. He believes that promoting a culture of life means helping to reduce the number of abortions, through greater access to healthcare information, counseling, and other preventive services. Source – Website

Doug Ose has consistently voted against funding anything other than taxpayer funded abortions and has opposed abortion alternatives Charlie Brown says he supports.

Gas Prices – Charlie Brown incorrectly blames John Doolittle for $3 a gallon gas in a political cheap shot.

But Brown writes: That’s why Charlie will lead the fight to end America’s dependence on the world’s most unstable regions for oil by investing in domestic energy production, and increasing incentives for the development of renewable alternatives.

While Doolittle was voting to tap into domestic energy sources we know we have and was voting to fund alternative energy research…

Doug Ose was keeping with the MainStreet Partnership philosophy of Earth First – as in don’t drill or invest and the problem will go away. That’s the Ose energy plan – starve the baby.

Here are six issues where Doug Ose is to the Left of Charlie Brown. Who’s the Republican Here???

At least Ose is to the right of Arnold.

If Ose wins the June primary, I assume you will vote and campaign for Charlie Brown?

Pat Buchanan Jr.

He won’t win the primary with a conservative on the ballot.

Hey Aaron, I know not too many people read this blog but since you are a Rico supporter, can you explain to your readers why Rico has not filed his nomination papers yet to get on the ballot? Since you seem like you are in the know with that circle, is Rico running? It seemed like he was hot to trot now he is no where to be seen, what is up, I am just saying…....
