Quick Note About Some Membership Hiccups

The good news is that due to about 29 people joining the Placer CRA off of the State CRA website – we are now the largest Unit in the CRA! Get to work SoCal!

The bad news is that all but 1 joined on the State CRA website and we, the Placer CRA are dependent upon those down south that administer the site to tell us when people join from there.

As a result – State CRA Membership Secretary Peggy Mew forwarded me the contact info of those who joined. I will be contacting these people this weekend to belatedly welcome them to the club. She also apologized for the mix-up with the new members. For future reference – the Placer CRA Website has a membership function.

I have an e-mail from Peggy explaining what happened and it will be sent to the affected members.

A concerned member who joined contacted Tom Hudson (who is no longer on the Placer CRA board) and alerted him to the problem. Tom immediately contacted the rest of us.

The affected members only missed two meetings – our December Christmas Party with Congressman Doolittle and our January organizing meeting.
