Sacramento Bee Endorses Montgomery - Ideaology over Qualifications

Posted by Aaron Park on October 24, 2008 at 08:08 PM

The fact that the Sacramento Bee endorsed Jennifer Montgomery comes as no suprise whatsoever.

The fact that the Sacramento Bee ignored that the anonymous letter about Michelle Ollar Burris hit two days different than the day that Bruce took his seat comes as no suprise. (The significance of this is the impossibility for Bruce to have known about Ollar-Burris’ issues beforehand.)

The fact that the Sacramento Bee spun running a house-cleaning service as better experience than 30+ years in Law enforcement as better experience is no suprise.

But, the height of hypocricy is illustrated by the following:

Jennifer Montgomery says that she is not beholden to developers and does not take their money. The Bee pointed out that fact – however, a look at Jennifer’s 460 shows -

1. Alex Mourelatos, seeking housing project in Tahoe Vista for years and supports the 3-lane alternative;

2. Dave Ferrari, Owner of the Ferarri’s Crown Motel, whose purchased a half dozen or more properties in Kings Beach for a future major development (Hotel, etc.) and also supports the 3-lane (gridlock) alternative;

3. George Koster, Century 21 commercial and residential properties

4. Carole Savory Century 21 commercial and residential properties

5. Teresa May Duggan, Century 21, who sell property in Kings Beach, supports the 3-lane alternative and stands to make profits through sales of commercial and residential properties in Kings Beach:

6. Susette Ghilotti (self employed Property Management – Colfax);

7. Steve Kastan (Property Management – Tahoe Alpine Assn.);

8. Sherry Wicks (Mortgage Broker in Foresthill)

To the Sacramento Bee – for a wonton ideaological sellout, this Jug’s for you.
