Meantime – Montgomery’s biggest supporters are “retired” or “relieved” former County Employees… Nice.
Statement by Sac Metro Chamber and Metro PAC on Bruce Kranz Endorsement:
Placer County, Supervisor District 5
Bruce Kranz’s nearly four decades of public service have been dedicated to improving public safety, ensuring better use and access to natural resources and protecting property rights and taxpayers. He retired from the California Department of Parks and Recreation after serving as Superintendent of the American River District. Since his election in 2004, Bruce’s policy actions have been focused on preventing catastrophic wildfires and floods; preventing drug abuse; working for the economic and environmental well being of citizens in the Sierra, foothill and Tahoe regions (clean air, water, electricity, affordable housing, tourism and jobs); protecting private property rights from regulatory excesses such as eminent domain and taxpayers from excess spending. Bruce’s experience and vision make him the clear choice to help lead Placer County.
This endorsement is huge – because it means a fair chunk of money and the Sac Metro Chamber has a lot of members.
