Has Montgomery Thrown in the Towel?

Recently, Montgomery bailed out on a televised debate with Bruce Kranz. The Hostinng station was in Truckee and could be seen in the entire North Lake Tahoe area.

Add to that, recently blogged is Montgomery failing to answer the bell for the Auburn Chamber of Commerce questionnaire.

It doesn’t stop there – the DCCC has withdrawn support for Charlie Brown, so hoped-for slate mail is not going to materialize for Montgomery.

Monty is deliberately avoiding being anywhere where Kranz is simultaneously. She apparently does not like answering questions about her anti-war activity, party affiliation or affiliation with extreme enviros.

The Coup d’etat – Montgomery has $66,000 with $27,000 committed. Kranz has $108,000 with $50,000 committed.

Stay tuned for a flurry of endorsements on the way for Bruce. It looks like Montgomery peaked a month ago.
