3 Judges to decide if 240 Convicts will be released into Placer County

Posted by Aaron Park on November 29, 2007 at 04:25 PM

Take heart – Sacramento stands to get 1,680 of their very own.

Out of the minds of the same liberals who think sending convicted child molesters to group homes in residential neighborhoods – comes a three judge panel that has decided that they know better than us how criminals should be handled.

This panel is to decide how to enforce an absurd prision population cap law that may or may not really exist.

To excerpt the site:

Right now, the latest figures show that there are approximately 170,000 prisoners serving time behind bars in California’s prisons. It is expected that the courts will rule that only 130,000 prisoners can be provided with constitutionally adequate health and mental health services in our current prison facilities.

This means that 40,000 prisoners could soon be released if the federal courts follow through with their threat and impose a population cap.

Democrats hate the three strikes law so bad that they have unified to stop reform until being forced to this year – but only after they knew a court could force the release of some 40,000 felons back on the streets.

If Democrats are successful in getting a ruling from the court ordering the release of criminals, they have effectively destroyed three strikes – because the ruling would cap the prison population and they (the Dems) have successfully thwarted any attempts to build more prisons or to allow private comapnies to compete with the Prison Guards Union.

The Republican Caucus has made a website highlighting the danger Democrats have put us in so they can keep the money flowing in from the Prison Guards.

Bipartisan reform!? Deliberately done way too late to stop what the Courts are going to do…
