Poll finds Thompson appeals to churchgoers

“Thompson emphasized his support for conservative judges and his ‘100 percent pro-life voting record’ as part of his none too subtle message that he is a ‘consistent conservative.’”

This is great news for the GOP. We can’t afford to lose the White House or allow some “acceptable alterative” to run against Hillary. We need to beat her with someone we can respect as President and can lead us in these perilous times.

“If the GOP nominates an abortion rights supporter and has the issue ‘effectively taken off the table,’ many religious Christian voters may not vote Republican in 2008.”
